The Community S.O.A.R Project is a 501c3 non-profit social enterprise organized to support those who are at risk for justice involvement or are returning citizens from incarceration. We are committed to helping persons in Onslow County, NC successfully re-acclimate to the community from incarceration. We will accomplish this goal through a step-by-step process which begins with a referral.

We provide a Life-Skills Building Program, where our primary focus and most important initiative is to reduce justice involvement by addressing the needs of the whole person. Our services include:
- Goal Counseling
- Short-Term and Long-Term Goal Setting
- One-on-One Coaching and Follow-Up
- Initial Housing Costs: First Month’s Rent and Deposit
- Utility Start-Up (Electric and Water)
- Cognitive Behavioral life skills instruction
- Tuition for employment-based classes
- Small Business Start-Up Costs
- Tools and Uniforms for Business or Employment
- Mock Employment Interviews
- Limited Employment Placement
Refer Someone:
Community partners who encounter persons at risk for justice involvement or those returning from incarceration who they believe would benefit from the S.O.A.R program model of comprehensive case management leading to employment are asked to complete a referral along with a release of information signed by the potential applicant.
