Reentry / reintegration project
Reentry / reintegration project
We’re a social enterprise rooted in compassion and committed to supporting individuals in Onslow County, NC who are at risk for justice involvement or returning to the community after incarceration.
Our mission is to walk alongside each person on their journey of reentry—helping them rebuild, reconnect, and thrive. Through a thoughtful, step-by-step process that begins with a referral, we provide the guidance and resources needed for a successful transition back into community life.
At The Community S.O.A.R. Project, we believe in second chances, restored hope, and stronger communities—one person at a time.

"I didn't think I'd qualify."
The truth is, a lot of the families who now own Habitat homes started in exactly the same place.
If you live or work in Carteret or Onslow County, Homeowners Orientation is the perfect place to find out if our homeownership program could be a fit for you.
It's a chance to learn how the program works, what the application process looks like, and get your questions answered before you decide whether to apply.
No guessing.
No pressure.
Just information.
